FROM L’AUTRE CERCLE
Nonce Paolini, Chairman and CEO of TF1, Ms. Marie-Hélène Goix, Vice President of L’Autre Cercle, and Ms. Catherine Tripon, Spokesperson for L’Autre Cercle, today signed the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) Commitment Charter supporting a policy that promotes diversity and prevents discrimination.
The TF1 group is the first French media signatory to the Charter and now formalizes its commitment to fighting discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
As Nonce Paolini, Chairman and CEO of the TF1 group, explains : “Signing this charter is an important act for the TF1 Group, which has been committed for years to combating all forms of discrimination, both within the company and in its broadcasting. The Group, in its entertainment and news programming, must be a testament to the great diversity and resources of French society.”
This commitment is yet another initiative supporting diversity, one that bolsters those already implemented by the TF1 Corporate Foundation, the activities of which include promoting professional integration of the young people of the popular districts, from the Diversity Committee, which ensures the company remains diverse and representative both in-house and on the air, to the Group’s Mission Disability work, or still the professional equality with the creation of a mixed network “Fifty-fifty”.
