THOMAS JACQUES JOINS THE TF1 GROUP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

With effect from 1 September, Thomas Jacques, the TF1 group’s Chief Technology Officer is joining the Group’s Executive Committee.

For nearly four years, Thomas Jacques has been developing a new vision for the technical aspects of the TF1 group’s broadcast and IT activities. He has led the way in migrating the group’s infrastructures to the Cloud and in delivering the ongoing transformation of its operations, especially in ad sales.

With effect from today, Thomas Jacques is joining the TF1 group’s Executive Committee, reporting directly to Gilles Pélisson.

Thomas Jacques

A 48-year-old father of two, Thomas Jacques graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris and started his career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen and BCG, before joining  TF1 in 2003.

From 2003 to 2011 he held several roles within the TF1 Group, successively Corporate Finance Manager, Director of Innovation, Chief Operating Officer of e-TF1, and finally Director of Corporate Strategy.

In 2012, Thomas joined Google’s ad tech business, where he ran Google AdExchange in Europe until he returned to the TF1 group in 2018 as Chief Technology Officer. He is in charge of engineering and operations of broadcast systems and IT, and leads the Group’s data and innovation activities.
