Yannick, Multimedia graphic designer at the Group Communication and Marketing Department (TF1 SA)

Two-year degree on a work-study basis as a Multimedia Graphic Designer at Ecole Supérieure du Management et des Technologies de l’Information (ESMTI)

I was lucky enough to join TF1’s External Communication department for my Multimedia Graphic Designer degree at ESMTI on a work-study basis. I work as a multimedia graphic designer  responsible for a range of assignments, each one as interesting as the last, including graphic layouts for press kits, photo montage and touch-ups, newsletters, video publishing on the TF1 PRO* and WAT.TV** websites, graphics for the TF1 group website, and logos.

I have an objective view of my work

I have always preferred work-study programmes in my education experiences. When you’re in the field, it’s easier to assimilate and understand the knowledge you acquire in your training.

My team is excellent and my tutor has helped me to make progress since I joined TF1. He takes the time to listen to me and look at my work. He makes sure that the imaginative and creative aspects fully respect what the customer is looking for and at the same time comply with the relevant graphic charter. Thanks to my experience at TF1, I’m better able to channel my creativity and I now have an objective view of my work.

Looking to the future, for now I don’t have any plans to set up an agency, which requires a lot of thought and personal investment, but I would like to be a graphic designer in the creative department of a large group.
