TF1 opens the Cannes Film Festival with GRACE OF MONACO

TF1 OPENS THE CANNES FILM FESTIVAL WITH
GRACE OF MONACO

Co-produced by TF1 Films Production and Pierre-Ange Le Pogam for Stone Angels and distributed by Gaumont, the film is making its debut screening for the opening of the Cannes Film Festival. 
 
Commenting, Benoît Louvet, Chairman of TF1 Films Production, and Nathalie Toulza-Madar, Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are proud to have supported Olivier Dahan, Pierre-Ange Le Pogam, Gaumont and all their teams on the film Grace of Monaco. EXCELLENT BOX-OFFICE START TO 2014 FOR TF1 FILM PRODUCTION

A perfect illustration of TF1's policy focused on headlining, family-oriented and popular films, TF1 co-productions are posting excellent box office results. This year's big hits include:
Supercondriaque by Dany Boon, with 5.2 million tickets*
La Belle et la Bête by Christophe Gans (1.8 million)
Non-stop by Jaume Collet-Serra (1.2 million)
Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait au bon Dieu? by Philippe de Chauveron (6.5 million)
 
These feature films will soon be broadcast in TF1's Ciné Dimanche on Sunday evening - television's leading film slot. We hope they will enjoy the same ratings success as films such as Les Tuche (8.6 million TV viewers)**, War of the Buttons (7.5 million), 22 Bullets (6.9 million), Hollywoo (6.1 million) and the second TV broadcast of Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis (11.5 million).
