TF1 sells its subsidiary STUDIOS 107 to AMP


On May 25th 2005, TF1 and AMP executed a final agreement by which TF1 sold 100% of the shares of STUDIOS 107 to AMP.

Since 1992, STUDIOS 107 has been operating 5 studios located in La Plaine St Denis near Paris, providing technical support for the shooting of TV shows including « Attention à la marche », « La méthode Cauet », « Sans aucun doute » and « Teleshopping ». The total sales of STUDIOS 107 amounted to €10m in 2004.

The deal will allow AMP to enrich its existing Outside Broadcast offer, and to benefit from operational and commercial synergies. STUDIOS 107 will gain access to the whole market of French producers and broadcasters, as well as leverage the AMP sales organization. 

The STUDIOS 107 facility includes 5 TV studios, 2 of which of around 1,000 sqm, 3 fully-equiped control rooms, more than 2,500 kW of lights, 26 dressing rooms, reception spaces and production offices. It is considered as one of the best TV production sites in France.
