Valérie Languille has been appointed Executive Vice President Human Relations & CSR at the TF1 group with effect from 1 September. She is joining the Executive Committee, and succeeds Arnaud Bosom in the role.

Gilles Pélisson, TF1 group Chairman and CEO, comments: “I am delighted to welcome Valérie to our senior management team. Her impressive career path, combined with a perfect understanding of her field and her experience of the media industry, mean she is ideally placed to support our continuing growth and help us evolve in a fast-changing environment. I wish her every success in her new role.
I would also like to extend my warmest thanks to Arnaud for his exceptional contribution heading up our Human Relations, CSR & Technologies function over the last ten years, and more generally for his 27 years of service with the TF1 group. Over the last few years Arnaud has helped us navigate some key stages in our history, such as the transformation and diversification of our operations from TPS through to e-TF1 and cybersecurity issues, and more recently the complexities around Covid-19 and the rollout of our CSR policy. Arnaud and his team rose magnificently to all these challenges.
A graduate of ESSEC business school and holder of a Masters Degree in Sociology, Valérie Languille began her career with Sociovision and Gemini Consulting (Capgemini group), working as a consultant on human resources and change management projects within a number of major companies.
In 2002, she joined a Caisse d’Epargne group subsidiary as head of Human Resources, before moving to the group HR function in 2006. There she served in various roles, including Head of Recruitment and Talent Development and subsequently Vice-President for Executive and Management Development at the BPCE group.
Valérie joined the Canal+ group in 2011 as head of Human Resources at Studiocanal, before taking charge in 2016 of Human Resources at the pay-TV and free-to-air broadcasting division. From February 2017 to February 2022, she served as Head of Human Resources at the Canal+ group.
In the same year, Valérie obtained a Company Directorship Certificate from EM Lyon business school.
As well as her professional work, Valérie is also heavily involved in promoting female leadership. She has previously co-founded a number of initiatives including Financi'elles and Essec Women Alumni, and sits on the Board of Directors of the “Tous Tes Possibles” non-profit organisation.
