EMPLOYMENT AND DISABILITY: TF1 GROUP MOBILISES FOR DUODAY 2023
At TF1 group, we respect everyone for who they are – both within our teams, and in our programmes. Every day, we are engaged in representing all aspects of diversity.
To mark the 27th European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (SEEPH), which runs from Monday 20 to Sunday 26 November, TF1 group is partnering the #DuoDay2023 national awareness day and reaffirming its commitment to employing people with disabilities through a variety of initiatives.
DuoDay 2023: TF1, LCI and TF1 INFO get mobilised
For the sixth year running, TF1 group is supporting #DuoDay by welcoming people with disabilities to its studios and channels.
DuoDay encourages companies to pair up a person with disabilities and a volunteer employee for a day, to promote inclusion in the world of business through work.
We give the initiative an exceptional shop window on the TF1 and LCI channels by offering people with disabilities the chance to co-present high-profile programmes side by side with our presenters.
- The viewer Q&A segment of the 8pm news bulletin with Gilles Bouleau and Garance Pardigon will be devoted to the theme of the inclusion of people with disabilities.
- A series of videos on Tiktok, Snapchat and YouTube produced by Garance Pardigon with Marcel, an 8-year-old boy with Down Syndrome, and his mother Carole, known on social media as @extraordinaireMarcel. Marcel and his mother were invited into the TF1 newsroom studios and talked to our presenters.
